Something new and memorable will be happening next year!  Strawbridge Studios will be at school on February 1, 2017 to take your Senior Pictures.  Having your picture taken with drapes will create a more formal and unified look in the Yearbook and with the composite picture that will hang in the halls of BCHS after you graduate!  For use in the Graduation slide show, Seniors will still need to submit a baby picture, a middle school picture and a senior picture from the photographer of your choice.  Thank you for your cooperation, we look forward to seeing you next school year!

FFA earns 3-Star Rating Again!!

This weekend, Bourbon Co FFA members are excited to announce that we are a National 3 star chapter for 3 years in a row! This is the highest ranking that an FFA chapter can receive. In order to qualify for a national rating, a chapter must receive a state gold rating. We have been a state gold chapter every year since 1966. After a chapter is rated gold, you may enter the state contest. Only the top 15 chapters in the state are considered for a national rating.

BCHS FFA Members will be receiving the 3 star rating for the fourth time in school history at the national FFA Convention in October. Huge congratulations go to the current FFA Officers on their hard work. Kyleigh Withers  and  Tori Vaugh worked extra hard on this application. The application is graded on our activities concerning chapter, student, and community development. If you see any of our officers, please congratulate them.

BCHS recognizes students for doing the right things!
Bourbon County High School has incorporated the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports as part of our plan to better recognize students with positive behaviors. At the beginning of the school year this began with addressing the entire student body about our expectations of positive behavior in the classrooms and common areas. These behavior standards are centered around BCHS (Be respectful, Commit to achievement, Honor, and Show Pride).
Today we recognized 556 students that met all of our expectations for the first nine-week grading period. These students passed all classes, received zero discipline referrals, and had zero tardies to class.
Thanks to the generosity of our Paris Dairy Queen location, each student received a coupon for free mini blizzards. Thank you Dairy Queen for supporting BCHS.
