SCHOOL LUNCH AND BREAKFAST PROGRAM

Breakfast and a Type A lunch are served in each of the Bourbon County elementary schools daily.  The program provides free meals, and meals at reduced prices, for those children whose families qualify under federal guidelines.  Free and reduced meal applications are distributed to all students on the first day of school and are available upon request throughout the school year.  Breakfast and lunch prices are shown below:

Ø Student Breakfast / Elementary                           $1.00 (Preschool through grade 5)

Ø Student Breakfast / Middle & High School          $1.25 (Grades 6-12)

Ø Reduced Price Student Breakfast                        $.30

Ø Adult Breakfast                                                   $1.30

Ø Student Lunch / Elementary                                 $1.75 (Preschool through grade 5)

Ø Student Lunch / Middle & High School               $2.00 (Grades 6-12)

Ø Reduced Price Student Lunch                             $.40

Ø Adult Lunch                                                        $2.75

Menus are published weekly in the local newspaper and bi-weekly from each elementary school.

Charges are only given on an emergency basis and must be paid the next school day.  Parents or students are encouraged to prepay for breakfast and lunch from 7:30 – 7:55 a.m. on Mondays.
