Hello, and welcome to our class page.  Just to give you a little background on me, my name is Cliftina McGuffey.  I love Math -we use it ALL of the time -EVERYDAY!  I guess you could call me a Math geek and very proud of it.  (=  My philosophy on education is simple, very high expectations for all students in collaboration with an environment where it is safe and free for all to learn -and expect success.

I went to school at Morehead State University and earned a Bachelors Degree in Business, a Masters Degree in Education and a Rank I in Mathematics.  Before teaching Middle School, I taught high school.  I've been married over 25 years and have one son (Peanut), who graduated in 2013, and one pet (a Cairn Terrier, Lil Mac).

My favorite things include:  God, chocolate, math, my students, reading, spending time with my family, and teaching (of course).
