Hello! My name is Katie Gibson and I am a 5th grade teacher here at BCES. This is my 7th year teaching and I absolutely love it! I  have taught first grade for four years, and now teach fifth grade ELA and Social Studies. I grew up here in the town of Paris, graduated from Bourbon County High School and then Eastern Kentucky University in December of 2011. I graduated from the University of Cumberlands in 2015 with my Masters in Teacher Leader. I plan to start on my Rank 1 this year and continue to grow as a teacher.

Outside of teaching, I love being on the farm! I have been showing dairy cows since I was 6 years old and I still continue to love the farm, the cows, and the shows. I have a 13 year old niece that is my pride and joy!
