I've taught at Bourbon Central since 1994. The majority of my years have been spent teaching 1st grade, but in 2013 I moved to a different position. I am currently the Read to Achieve teacher. I teach Reading Recovery and small literacy groups. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kentucky - Go Cats! My husband, Kevin, and I have three daughters - Erin who is a 3rd grade teacher here at Bourbon Central,  Elissa who is a junior at the University of Kentucky, and our youngest, Laney,who is in 4th grade here at Bourbon Central this year. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I look forward to another exciting year working with the Reading Recovery program and with literacy groups!
