Transportation
The Bourbon County School District provides bus transportation for over 2,000 students each day, traveling over 3,500 miles per day.
The privilege of any student riding a school bus is conditioned upon the child’s good behavior and observance of the bus rules and regulations. Parents should urge students to follow bus rules. This cooperation will make it possible to provide a safer and more efficient transportation system. Information concerning bus routes may be obtained by calling the school principal.
SCHOOL CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Radio and television stations listed below are informed by 6:00 a.m. when possible concerning school closings. They are also notified at least one (1) hour in advance when early dismissal is necessary. Students and parents are urged not to call the radio/television stations of school officials. As soon as a decision is made, stations are called.
