Energy Management

The objective of the Bourbon County Schools Energy
Management Plan is save money on energy consumption
so that more money will be available for students which is
the primary goal of the district. The Energy Management
Program was started after the Kentucky Legislative passed
HB 2 which become KRS 160.325 that is present below

Bourbon County Middle School had a ceremony in the school gym on September 20, 2017 to celebrate the school earning the Energy Star Award Below are a couple of photos that were taken at the event.

Bourbon County Central Elementary finished second in the Battle of the Kentucky School Buildings by saving over 24% from 2015 to 2016. A ceremony was held at the school on May 12, 2017 to recognize this huge achievement.

Bourbon County Central Elementary Receives Energy Star Award on December 6, 2016. The award was presented by Senator Steve West, Representative Sannie Overly, Bourbon County Judge Executive Mike Willams and Magistrate Don McCarty. The Student Energy Team along with Principal Keith Madill are shown receiving the award.
