We are currently experiencing a high level of illness across our schools. We are seeing numerous cases of RSV, Flu A & B, COVID, and stomach viruses.
Please help us keep all students and staff healthy by following these guidelines:
• Keep children home if they are sick or showing symptoms of illness.
• If your child has a fever, they must be fever-free for 24 hours WITHOUT fever-reducing medication (Tylenol or Ibuprofen) before returning to school.
• If your child is sent home with vomiting or diarrhea, they may return only after 24 hours since the last episode.
• These illnesses are viral, very contagious, and are not treated with antibiotics.
Thank you for partnering with Bourbon County Schools to keep our students healthy and learning.
For questions, please contact your school nurse.

To our Bourbon County Schools students, staff and families:
Our maintenance and grounds crews have been working tirelessly to clear our campuses and ensure a safe environment for everyone. We truly appreciate their hard work and dedication during these challenging conditions. However, despite these efforts, all Bourbon County campuses remain closed to all activities at this time. This includes all practices, club meetings, and extracurricular events. The safety of our Colonel family is our absolute priority. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as they become available.Thank you for your continued patience and understanding!
