Our Bourbon County High School family is coming together today with heavy hearts as we mourn the loss of one of our own, Ava Ann Warner.

The Bourbon County Schools family will miss Ava deeply. Certified counselors are available to support students and staff through this difficult time. Please keep Ava’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days and weeks.

A Note to Our BCHS Family: We know that this is an incredibly hard time for all of us. Losing a member of our school family leaves a void that is felt by students, staff, and parents alike. Please know that you do not have to carry this grief alone. If you or your students need anything at all—whether it’s a place to talk, grief support, or just a helping hand—please let us know. Our counselors and staff are here for you, now and in the days to come.

Our deepest love and prayers are with her parents, Dean and Holly Warner, and her siblings, Fam, Brielle, and Jacob. We stand with you in your grief, and we thank you for sharing Ava’s beautiful life with our school community.

Arrangements & Support:
Services: Funeral arrangements are currently pending and will be shared as soon as they are finalized.

Donations & Support: For those looking to offer support to the Warner family, please contact the High School Counseling Office via email at paula.thompson@bourbon.kyschools.us or nikki.mullins@bourbon.kyschools.us.
