We are incredibly grateful to the Paris Police Department for their generous donation of a police cruiser to the Bourbon County Schools Police Department! This vehicle will play a vital role in helping our school resource officers keep our campuses, staff, and students safe every single day.

Community partnerships like this show what makes Paris and Bourbon County such a special place to live, learn, and grow.

A special thank you to the leaders who made this donation possible:

Chief Mark Burden & Assistant Chief Dewayne Ison (Paris Police Department)

City Manager Matt Belcher & Assistant City Manager Mike Withrow

City Commissioners: Stan Galbraith, Tim Gray, Wallace Brooks, and Sharon Fields

We also want to send a huge shoutout to Jason Brown at Bluegrass Greetings for providing the sharp new custom lettering on the cruiser. It looks fantastic out on the road!

Thank you all for your unwavering support of our schools, our officers, and our kids! 💙🚗 Safe schools take a whole community.
